"Aunty Madge" as I knew her (was not my aunty) - but I liked her a lot too. She was always straight, she said it as it was. "Soft" is the word that comes to mind when I think of her. Her smile was soft as was her skin and appearance. She had a fondness about her and would just fit in. At the same time she had a great strenght of heart and very much her own person. Aunty Madges arrival to the village was always exciting. One could see she gave unconditional love to Catherine, and family. May she rest in peace. blessings Caroline.
